Mitigation of load side harmonic distortion in standalone photovoltaic based microgrid

Photovoltaic (PV) system as one part of distributed energy resources is becoming an alternative for low and medium distribution network microgrid. By the reason a wide implementation power electronic non-linear loads, harmonics distortion main problems systems. There are several filter types to mitigate harmonics. The passive distinguished by its simplicity economical options from another filters. In this paper, single tuned (STF) used minimize in standalone PV based A solar array modelled ideal diode model (ISDM) supply electrical AC load. simulation results executed on MATLAB/Simulink show that STF effective mitigating voltage total harmonic (VTHD) current (ITHD) with enhancing output quality.
